Two friends, Abdullah and Harun, driven by their passion for Andalusian design, and a distaste for the unimaginative “minimalist” watches swarming the market, set up Miraj Collections, and are on a mission to reintroduce Islamic geometric and arabesque designs for a contemporary audience. Miraj recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for their first watch, inspired by the beautiful Alhambra Palace in Granada, and have already reached their minimum funding target.

The 12-point geometric star design on the Alhambra Watch was intentionally constructed to be both functional and beautiful. They ensured that the best quality materials were used, so every watch is encased in 316L surgical grade stainless steel, and comes with a Swiss-made movement, sapphire crystal glass, Italian leather strap or Milanese mesh band.
