MEET GRACIE, SHE UNDERSTANDS YOUR LANGUAGE, AND HUNDREDS OF OTHERS

United States, Massachusetts, Boston – 05-13-2019 (PRDistribution.com) — Topos Labs a Finalist at the MIT Sloan CIO Symposium Innovation Showcase

The16th annual MIT Sloan CIO Symposium selected Topos Labsas one of its 10 finalists for the 2019 Innovation Showcase, based on the company’s cutting edge cognitive text mining platform, Gracie. Leaders of the Showcase will announce its winner on May 22, 2019.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized as one of the hottest technologies of 2019 by MIT’s Innovation Showcase,” said Christopher Stephenson, CEO of Topos Labs. “Our team is cracking the code on unstructured data to solve real world problems. Gracie, a reading machine that can be trained without programming or data science, analyzes and accurately classifies all forms of free form text. MIT’s Symposium offers and outstanding opportunity to showcase Gracie alongside so many influential new technologies.”

Inspired by Grace Hopper, a computer science pioneer, Gracie collaborates with users to quickly ingest and understand text, analyze and classify it, and provide useable results that can save organizations valuable time and money. Gracie’s value proposition for content-rich industries, such as health care, finance or information security, is immediate. Her engine uncovers missed revenue, makes sense of complexity, and can even detect fraud.

“It is a tremendous honor to award these 10 companies for our 2019 Innovation Showcase,” said Anton Teodorescu, Co-Chair of the Innovation Showcase. “We consider these insightful technologies to represent the strongest innovation to help lead a smarter enterprise.”

Showcase judges evaluated and selected the 10 technologies based on four criteria:

  • Have an enterprise IT solution product available in the market;
  • Are a start-up with less than $10 million in 2018 annual revenues;
  • Are selling enterprise IT solutions to CIOs or corporate IT departments; and
  • Show innovation and/or strategic value and potential impact on the top and/or bottom lines.
