United States, Florida, Miami – 06-07-2019 — Judge Victoria Brennan is soon to mark her 17th year as member of the AUS, Inc. Board of Directors. A career public servant and recently retired Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge, Brennan was first elected to the Board in 2002—and has been a loyal Director of and contributor to the Mount Laurel, New Jersey-based conglomerate ever since.

Judge Victoria Brennan joined the AUS Board following more than 13 years as Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Subsequent to her election to the board, Judge Brennan added to her vast experience in the legal profession in several different capacities—including the role of child advocate and Staff Attorney for the Florida Statewide Guardian ad Litem Program (2004-2005); service as criminal law advisor and Assistant General Counsel to then-Governor Jeb Bush (2005-2006); four+ years as Miami-Dade County Court Judge (Civil and Domestic Violence Divisions, 2006-2011); and over five years as Circuit Court Judge in Florida’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Criminal Division (2011-2016). Currently, she serves as one of six Board members.AUS, Inc., was first established by Judge Brennan’s father, Joseph Brennan, in the summer of 1967. Initially a single office in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia, AUS grew into a portfolio of enterprises with a nationwide reach serving markets throughout the world. Currently, AUS business enterprises include a market research systems production company, a market research company, a utility consultancy company and a valuation firm. Built on three basic Principles of Excellence—personal integrity, superior performance standards and unwavering loyalty to both colleagues and clients—AUS has continually sought out new opportunities and innovative means of creating business-based solutions and generating corporate value. During its more than 50 years of existence, AUS has made investments in anything from flight schools, print publications and printing plants to intellectual property management services, financial consulting and market research operations. Over the decades, AUS invested heavily in mainframe computers for consolidating financial data from regulated utilities (1970s); has acquired and cultivated a firm founded by one of the earliest adopters of computer-supported phone survey research (1980s); and has shifted its focus on data-driven consulting and market research practices (1990s and 2000s). Victoria Brennan retired from the bench in 2016, completing a 10-year career in the judiciary and nearly 30 years of service to the Florida legal community. Today, Judge Brennan and her AUS colleagues are proud to carry on the legacy of excellence first established by her father more than 50 years ago. They accomplish this not only through an ongoing commitment to the firm’s founding principles and values, but also through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) that helps ensure that commitment is maintained for generations to come. With the AUS Employee Ownership Plan, the company has created a culture where success is shared by all personnel—and in which an invaluable inter-company perspective continues to foster collaboration, innovation and a long-term outlook.  About: Judge Victoria Brennan (ret.) earned her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1989—shortly before being hired as prosecutor with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.
