Retired Red Sox Baseball Player Mo Vaughn to Open Baseball Academy in Boca Raton, Florida

United States – 06-07-2019 (PRDistribution.com) — The Mo Vaughn Baseball Academy is accepting enrollments for its first summer clinic located in Boca Raton, Florida. Clinics are open to ages 5-12 with the first clinic beginning on July 8, 2019, and running for 10 weeks. The Academy will offer one-hour long hitting, fielding, advanced fielding, pitching, catching, and general skills clinics.

The Academy is founded by Mo Vaughn, a retired Boston Red Sox Major Leaguer. During his 12-year career in the Majors, Mo achieved great success including becoming a three-time All Star Player and an MVP award recipient in 1995. Inspired by coaching his young son Lee for the Boca Raton PawSox, Mo saw a need for younger kids to get coached. The Mo Vaughn Baseball Academy will offer professional-level coaching from retired MLB players and MLB coaches including Mo himself, Mike Easler and Ben Rivera. The Academy’s main objective is to create a fun atmosphere for kids while teaching them the fundamentals of the game. “Repetition is the key to success and we hope having these ten-week clinics throughout the year will greatly help your young players reach their goals,” Mo said. “The training and discipline your child gains from any sport imparts onto them invaluable life skills.”The Mo Vaughn Baseball Academy is located at 510 NW 77th Street Boca Raton, FL, 33487.
