With nearly a decade of professional experience as a Board-Certified Breast Radiologist, Dr. Saphier has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. As a dynamic, results-driven leader, Dr. Saphier has demonstrated success not only in her clinical and research appointments at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and her own consulting practice but is soon to have her first book to be released by the prestigious Harper Collins Publishing. Her impressive repertoire of roles includes Health Contributor for Fox News where she breaks down healthcare policies and various other news from the medical field. She is also a frequent guest-host of The Five, Outnumbered and Fox & Friends Weekend. Dr. Saphier’s areas of expertise include but are not limited to; breast and pelvic imaging, high risk malignancy screening, breast MRI, 3D tomosynthesis, mammography, ultrasound and PET/CT. She initially practiced in Phoenix and Scottsdale and now practices in New York City as well as Monmouth and Bergen Counties in New Jersey.
Dr. Saphier says that she was inspired to get involved with women’s health after the death of her grandmother who had lost her battle with advanced breast cancer. Dr. Saphier uses the platform available to her to urge everyone to receive cancer screenings. She also advocates for overall wellness and healthy life choices. Her unbiased advice has made her an engaging media personality who has been very exciting to watch. She has covered topics ranging from the Affordable Care Act, Medicare for All, Legalization of Marijuana, CBD, various breaking medical news and even actress-singer Olivia Newton-John and Jeopardy Host Alex Trebek’s battle with cancer.
Dr. Saphier graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with an MD and did her 5-year radiology residency in her home state at Maricopa Integrated Health Systems in Arizona. She later completed an Oncologic Imaging Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Arizona with special interest in breast imaging.

Throughout her illustrious career Dr. Saphier has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. For 2019 she is being considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine and to be interviewed on TIP International Radio. Also for 2019 selected as Top Radiologist of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) and she will be honored at their annual awards gala at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
Aside from her successful career, Dr. Saphier pays it forward by participating in her local community. She is a member of the local Board of Health, the Economic Development Advisory Committee, as well as being named the Chairperson of the Joint Municipal Alliance. She serves the New Jersey Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in an advisory capacity.
Looking back, Dr. Saphier attributes her success to her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way, and staying passionate in all her endeavors. When not working, she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her family and husband Dr. Paul Saphier who is a full-time neurosurgeon who also frequents as a medical contributor for local news broadcasts, radio shows, and the occasional appearance on Fox & Friends. For the future, she hopes to continue to make a difference in people’s lives any way she can which in-turn creates a positive impact to be shared with others.
