He has demonstrated success not only as an accountant but also as a Financial Planner and Certified Estate Advisor. His impressive repertoire of prior roles have included, Auditor for the State of New Jersey, Supervisor for Amper, Politziner & Mattia, Tax Manager for Price Waterhouse, Senior Manager for Salomon & Company, Partner for Mintz Rosenfeld & Co LLC, and Partner for J.H. Cohn LLP. He is regarded by his peers as one of the nation’s Top Accountants and Wealth Management Advisors. As a Member of the Firm of Smolin Lupin & Co. Mr. Byer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Muhlenberg College in 1979, his Master’s in Business Administration from Rider University in 1989 and his certificate in Financial Planning from Fairleigh Dickenson University in 2002.
