Years after starting another sober living in Los Angeles, the founder of The Nook discovered that there is a gap in existing programs that doesn’t allow professionals and college students the opportunity to continue their connection to work/education while in recovery. These may be working professionals that can’t put their job on hold or college students who can’t just disappear for months at a time. The Nook has been established as a Medication Assisted Treatment house that can run in collaboration with talented therapists and extensive treatment options that create a specialized approach for each client and their specific needs. At The Nook, we recognize that co-occurring disorders need to be treated in order for the individual to maintain lifelong recovery.The Nook Sober Living is located on the bluffs overlooking Silicon Beach. The property boasts a salt water infinity pool and a terrace with an unobstructed view of West Los Angeles. The house is central to all of what West Los Angeles and Southern California have to offer. For those seeking to continue or further their education, we are located near Santa Monica and West LA college. The house is also a very short walk from the prestigious Loyola Marymount University which provides reputable bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees. These scholastic institutions have deep ties in the Los Angeles community with high transfer rates to nationally recognized institutions like UCLA and USC.
