The inaugural Portland Comedy Festival will be held at Harvey’s in downtown Portland, Oregon from October 1-5, 2019

United States, Oregon, Portland – 10-01-2019 ( — The Portland Comedy Festival is an annual comedy event held by Golden Artists Entertainment in downtown Portland, Oregon. The inaugural festival will run from October 1st through October 5th, 2019, at Harvey’s, a historic comedy club. 

The festival will include a mix of local comedy standouts and internationally recognized celebrities. The latter list includes Bruce Villanch (6-time Emmy winner, former head writer for the Oscars, Hollywood Squares); Tom Rhodes (Showtime, Comedy Central, NBC’s Mr. Rhodes; Kevin Masters Starring Tom Rhodes); “Stuttering” John Melendez (The Howard Stern Show); Mark Brazill (co-creator of That ’70s Show); Dante (Last Comic Standing, Late Night with Conan O’Brien); and Rebekah Kochan (the Eating Out series, Joan Rivers’ Fashion Police). 
Attractions include 21 different comedy shows in two different theaters, highlighting top stand-up comics. There will also be an industry panel Saturday afternoon with a Q&A session. The event culminates in a stand-up comedy contest — the grand prize winner will receive $1,000.00; a one year contract with Golden Artists Entertainment; a spot on The Main Event Saturday night with an all-star headliner bill; and a weekend at the comedy club at Pechanga Resort and Casino!
