Ms. Moon also launched Harvest Moon Munchie Co. in 2001 which was one of the first non-chlorophyll, concentrate based medical edibles companies in the area. Ms. Moon partnered with brokering and educated the population on the benefits of organic and herbal remedies.
Ms. Moon’s education includes Environmental Horticulture with Minor in Forestry from Sierra College, course work at the University of Monterey in Organic Biology, course work at the College of the Redwoods in Permaculture Design and she is FDA certified in Food Management, Certified Master Grower, Osha certified as well as Sigma6.

Looking back, Ms. Moon attributes her success and her perseverance to being raised off grid and the resourcefulness it takes to do so- well as mentors like her firefighter mother and others who remind her to build her internal flames into fires. She continues staying passionate in all her endeavors. When not working, she enjoys experiencing new things, being in nature and riding trails with her son and friends..
