Prior to becoming a team member of CTCA in 2009, Dr. Weber spent 30 years in private practice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During this time, he served as Medical Director of the Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center Comprehensive Obesity Treatment Program; and of the West Allis Memorial Hospital Weight Loss Program. He also served on the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Board of Milwaukee for several years.

He then continued his professional journey with his extensive post-graduate training, including his residency at Georgetown Division of the District of Columbia General Hospital in Washington, D.C., and gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 

Board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Weber maintains professional society memberships with the American Medical Association, the American Gastroenterological Association, American Gastroenterology Association (AGA), and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. Additionally, Dr. Weber served for two years on the board of the Wisconsin chapter of the American Medical Association. In addition to his illustrious career, Dr. Weber has participated in several research studies and was named Best Doctor in Milwaukee by Shepard Publications, 2001. 

In 2005, Dr. Weber suffered the great loss of his 24-year-old daughter, Annie, to sarcoma cancer. Dr. Weber became intensely involved in sarcoma cancer fundraising and awareness after this loss and honors his late daughter through an organization he founded, “Annie’s Connection SC”, a member-directed support group serving those who have lost young adults. A year later, he co-founded “Annie’s Night”, which benefits the MACC (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer) Fund, an organization dedicated to finding effective treatments and cures for pediatric cancers and other blood-related disorders. Since 2007, Dr. Weber has also been an active participant of the Team Sarcoma annual July event, benefiting the Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative.
