In 1991, Dominique first started in the Human Resource Industry for Levi Strauss & Co, where she selected and coached new HR Managers in Turkey, South Africa, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland and temporarily assumed the HR Manager Role in Prague and Budapest.  She impressively rolled out and implemented new Performance Management training programs, problem solving techniques and workshops while also supporting and serving as faculty in South Africa.  

In 1999, Dominique assumed the title of Human Resources Manager for Novartis Consumer Health where she was in charge of Compensation & Benefits projects and expatriates management, as well as leading the Corporate Learning & Development function.  She joined SGS in February of 2001, first as an International Compensation & Benefits Manager. She quickly climbed the ranks as International HR assistant Vice President, to Vice President of Human Resources, to Senior Vice President of Human Resources, being part of the C-Suite and reporting to the Group’s CEO. 

Dominique has launched the design and deployment of a global on boarding program, considered thereafter a best practice in decentralized organizations. She led the design and implementation of the SGS Corporate Human Resources Intranet pages as key communication tool for all employees worldwide.  She transformed the HR function by designing and staffing a new HR organization and promoting from within, sponsored the design and deployment of an SGS Group’s Employer Branding in 30 countries covering 83 % of total hires to facilitate the 15,000 and up hiring per year, rolled out a yearly worldwide engagement initiative to reduce voluntary turnover and allow focus on top priorities for talent retention.  She sponsored a global initiative to analyze and raise efficiency and effectiveness of the HR function and delivery across 110 countries.

Ms. Ben Dhaou has been recognized worldwide for her ambition and empowerment. In 2015, she was inducted as a Lifetime Member and was named “Outstanding Member of the Year” by Bristol Who’s Who. She was selected by IAOTP in previous years as “Top Human Resource Director for 2016” and received the “Lifetime Achievement Award for 2017”.
