Dr. Buttacavoli’s medical journey began with a Medical Degree from the University of Miami School Of Medicine, 2009. He went on to complete an internship at The University f Texas Health Science Center in 2010. Dr. Buttacavoli then completed his residency at the University Of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, TX, where he returns as a reconstructive orthopedic surgery specialist with a goal to make a lasting impact on the future of patient care. In 2015, Dr. Buttacavoli received fellowship training in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. After his fellowship in Boston, he traveled to Switzerland for additional training in hip reconstruction at Balgrist Hospital.Upon returning from Switzerland, Dr. Buttacavoli entered into private practice in his home town Miami, Fl. After two years in Miami, he has returned as staff to the same department where he once was a resident.
