She followed this achievement by completing an Obstetrical Fellowship and continued on to receive a second Board Certification in Integrative Medicine. Her multi-faceted background influences her to practice, understand and appreciate pharmaceuticals and surgeries, but to prefer alternative approaches for health and wellness whenever possible. As for Dr. Wendy Arnold’s leadership roles, she has continually excelled as a Marine and Naval Officer and as a Marine Special Operations Task Force Surgeon in Afghanistan. She is beyond equipped to lead under pressure and is considered an award-winning teacher and leader. She has fit into the role of Series Commander and Executive Officer at recruit training and has guided several teams of Drill Instructors. During Medical School, she served as the Student Company Commander for the entire four years. During her tenure as graduate medical education faculty, she was selected for the position of Associate Program Director and was responsible for the administrative oversight and mentorship for over 40 Family Medical Resident Physicians. Currently, Dr. Arnold holds her position in the Navy as the Force Surgeon for the 1st Marine Logistics Group. She is the special staff advisor to the Commanding General (CEO equivalent) for all medical operational and readiness, (deployability and wellness) that reaches 8,500 personnel and has an annual budget of $100 million.Throughout her remarkable career, Dr. Wendy Arnold has received many awards and accoladesand has been recognized in numerous publications and magazines worldwide for heroutstanding leadership roles and commitment to the Integrative Medicine field.
