Beth Green is the Grandma We All Need & She’s Visiting Four Times a Week via the Internet, All Free of Charge
People from all over the US and around the world are turning for love and support to a 75-year-old, chronically ill woman, and all for good reason. With courage and dedication, Granny Beth Green, assisted by her husband James Maynard, is visiting everyone via the internet from their home in Oregon through four free weekly online programs – three livestreamed on Facebook and one via videoconference. Most of the programs use the spoken word, but one weekly offering is Beth playing soothing piano music — no English needed.
People are responding. Assisted by her husband James Maynard, Beth is doing all she can to provide strength and comfort to others. First, she is offering Spread Peace Around the Coronavirus, a weekly free videoconference on Thursdays from noon-1 pm Pacific time. In this interactional setting, Beth helps people process their feelings, connect to their strengths and emerge with greater clarity and calm. In addition, there are three Facebook livestreams. Mondays and Wednesday at 6:30 pm Pacific time, she broadcasts Granny Rocks! – a program where she shares her wit, wisdom and uncommon sense. She makes us laugh, exudes love and offers us tools to help us face these difficult times. Then on Thursdays, at 7 pm Pacific time, she broadcasts gorgeous, soothing and uplifting piano music through her program Dreams of Peace Improvisational Piano. She connects to our hearts and souls, and the music flows through her to us. It’s all improvised on the spot, and it really helps. All this takes place on her Facebook page, www.facebook.com/GrannyRocksOn, where she already has nearly 9,000 followers.
The author of 6 books and creator of 5 music CDs, this granny is a world-renowned intuitively-guided counselor with 40 years of experience working with individuals and groups. She is also an accomplished musician. James is a retired hypnotherapist and a musician in his own right.
