Hunt Construction Company formed a construction management division in 1960, which has since developed into AECOM Hunt. This construction management company went on to supervise significant construction projects for Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler. The construction management business continued to grow and soon encompassed construction projects for government buildings, correctional institutes, health care structures, sports structures, and higher education buildings in addition to their corporate construction projects. Hunt Construction expanded again, and its first high-rise project was the City-County Building for the city of Indianapolis. Hunt Construction has continued to expand each year, and in 2014 was acquired by AECOM. The companies merged to form AECOM Hunt Construction Management Company. 1010 Wilshire is pleased to be home to one of the satellite offices for AECOM Hunt Construction Management Company. The company has continued to expand since the merger and has now begun several projects in the western states, including casinos, research and development facilities, and infrastructure projects. We would like to extend a welcome to this newest office at the 1010 Wilshire property.
