First Tee –Inland Empire (FTIE) announced today the inaugural “Empire Gives Back” month – a series of golf fundraising activities that tees off on Monday, March 21 with the 3rd Annual FTIE Redlands Country Club Tournament, hosted by 2-time PGA Championship winner and Ryder Cup Captain Dave Stockton – and leads into everyday golfers playing courses, posting scores, winning prizes, donating and having matching funds applied on www.VieForGood.com throughout April.

“What’s exciting is that while only 88 golfers can play and donate in our 3rd Annual FTIE-Redlands CC tournament fundraiser, thousands more can now participate and donate to FTIE beginning April 1st by signing up at www.VieForGood.com, playing a round of golf at any course, anytime during April, post their scores, win prizes and share their content and experiences with other golfers,” said Dave Stockton. “And this is just the first application … in the near future, Vie’s technology will be applied to pro golf tour events and the charities each supports, to sports and major events beyond golf, and to fundraising for disaster relief, education, healthcare, disease research and other key NPO categories that need fundraising support.”
