New York, NY, United States – 06-10-2022 –

Hilda Chasia Szternfeld Smith was recently selected to be featured in the 2nd Edition of the Top 50 Fearless Leaders Publication by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

While being selected to be published in IAOTP’s Top 50 Fearless Leaders Publication, is an honor, only 50 of the world’s most brilliant, courageous, inspirational professionals are selected for this distinction.

These special honorees are hand selected to share their stories of perseverance, resilience, passion and strength. They have made outstanding contributions to society; they have impacted their industries and are respected in their trades. A chapter will be dedicated to each honoree and the book is anticipated to be released in the 1st quarter of 2023.

Hilda has exemplary brilliance in her field and has dedicated more than six decades of her life’s work as a teacher, artist, musician, poet, healer, and life educator. She inspires others to become their best selves. Hilda is the author of Chasia’s Enchantment, an integration of poetry, guided meditations, and inspirations aiming to incorporate world wisdom teachings with body, mind, spirit, and relaxation. She completed this book with inspiration from Yoga, Kabbalah, Judaism, Torah, meditation, and Pranayama (breathwork). The goal behind Chasia’s Enchantment is to encourage the reader to be more centered, become less stressed, be more open, and more relaxed in life. Her book was published by Durvile Publications Ltd. and her poetry has been published in the Winnipeg Jewish Post and the Calgary Jewish Star. Also, a dedicated abstract painter and colorist, her paintings have been represented by galleries in Calgary, Alberta, and Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Throughout her illustrious career, Hilda has been involved in many different industries including nursing and fashion. She has taught Hebrew, Yiddish, French, and English along with elementary education. She has also taught charm school, music, art, meditation, and yoga as well as conducted wellbeing seminars. At a young age, she became an assistant nurse, to explore the possibility of a medical career but learned that she felt most rewarded while talking to patients and helping them feel comfortable on the medical floor. She has degrees from the University of Calgary, the University of Manitoba, and Chopra Center University.  She was part of the Women’s Writing Project at the University of Calgary and has contributed to the Literary International Reading Association (LIRA) writings on Poetry in the Classroom. In 2000 Hilda became a graduate of the 18 International Pranayama Yoga and Meditation Schools founded by Swami Vignananada. Hilda has also had an extensive musical career; she sings in ten languages. In 1994 she was a guest soloist and composer at the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, in 2017 she was a guest soloist in a Western Tribute to Leonard Cohen, and in 2019 a guest soloist in a tribute to 18 Jewish composers, singing a medley of Gershwin music.

The President of IAOTP, Stephanie Cirami stated, “We are honored to have Hilda as part of the IAOTP family. We are considering her for multiple awards this year including the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Empowered Woman of the Year Award. We can’t wait to see more amazing things from her.”

Looking back Hilda attributes her success to the passion she has for wellbeing, both hers and others. She never takes her work or success for granted and lives by the mottos “How you breathe is how you live” and “Love is the answer, what is your question?”
