Elaine has dedicated more than 20 years of her professional talent and expertise as a successful entrepreneur who has excelled in various sectors. She was recognized as IAOTP’s 2021 Entrepreneur of the Year and as an Empowered Woman of the Year.
Having a phenomenal impact in her fields of expertise, Elaine served as the President of Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing in Spokane Valley, Washington. Recently, The Riverside Company, a global private investor specializing in the lower middle market, has invested in Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing. They are excited to work with Elaine and her husband Todd, Mainstream’s management team, and the skilled technicians who have delivered first-rate services since 2000.
Her prime areas of experience include, but are not limited to, Sales, Management, Team Building, Marketing, Education, Strategic Planning, Leadership, Public Speaking, and Customer Service. Mainstream has had an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau since 2003, thanks to Elaine’s leadership.
Elaine attended Boise State University before beginning her current work path, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching in 1992. She returned to Boise to finish her study, earning a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2011.
Elaine has garnered honors and recognition as an active part of her community for her remarkable leadership and devotion to the Home Services Industries during her lengthy career. Last year she graced the front cover of TIP Magazine (Top Industry Professionals). Elaine was named Top Entrepreneur of the Year in 2021 at the IAOTP Annual Awards, held in December 2021 at the majestic Plaza Hotel in New York City and she was on the famous Reuters Billboard in Times Square NYC. Also for 2021 she was selected as Idaho Business Review, Woman of the Year.
She has received several honors for her Humanitarianism and being named a Who’s Who, Top Executive in previous years. She has also been selected Woman of the Year by the Spokesman-Review and recognized as a Woman in Business Leadership in Spokane Coeur D’Alene Magazine. Mainstream was designated the fastest-growing privately owned company in the United States by Inc. Magazine for three years: No. 3680 in 2019, No. 3937 in 2018, and No. 3434 in 2021.
Elaine has committed her time and expertise in business to assist others in addition to her successful profession. Her extensive list of affiliations and accomplishments include her previous work as a Board Member and Bookkeeper for Kids Helping Kids Fix Broken Hearts, which she held from 2010 to 2018. Elaine has been a Nexstar Network member from 2016-2021. She is a member of the Better Business Bureau of the Northwest and Pacific, where she has served on the Board of Directors since 2014. Elaine is a supporter of Explorethetrades.org and Projectathena.org, and she has sponsored several parades and activities during her commercial career.
Elaine attributes her success to her tenacity, respect, and knowledge of her job while working alongside her husband and her ability to remain engaged in all her business relationships. For the future she plans to grow her business throughout the Northwest. She likes spending time with her family and friends and traveling when she is not working.
