Dr. David Krueger is an Executive Mentor Coach and CEO of MentorPath. He was recently selected for the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for 2022 given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).
While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor, only a few members are chosen for the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. These special honorees are distinguished based on their longevity in their fields, their contributions they have made to society and the impact they have had on their industries. Furthermore, Dr. David Krueger will receive his recognition from 2021 as Top Executive Mentor Coach of the Year.
Dr. David Krueger is being recognized as a Lifetime Achievement Awardee for dedicating two and half decades of his life’s work practicing and teaching psychiatry and psychoanalysis, being Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine, to transition in the last decade and a half to Professional Mentor Coaching. His integration of the mind, brain, and performance sciences applied to strategic coaching has been groundbreaking.
As CEO of MentorPath, an executive coaching, training, and publishing firm, he is Founder and Director of his own Licensed, Specialty-Certified New Life Story® Wellness Coaches and New Money Story® Mentor Training. He recently founded the NeuroMentor® Institute for Peak Performance for performing professionals, including athletes and actors.
His primary work as Executive Mentor Coach is with practicing professionals – financial, medical, legal – and performance professionals – actors and athletes – as well as executives in high-risk, high-reward situations. He collaborates confidentially to create and sustain success strategies and optimize performance.
Dr. Krueger develops Internal Mentoring Programs for Fortune 500 companies and Specialty Professional Groups. He earlier founded and served as CEO for two healthcare corporations, co-founded a third healthcare startup that went from venture capital to merger/acquisition, and founded Houston Gathering of Angels, an angel investment group.
Dr. Krueger’s areas of expertise include Wellness Mentor Coaching, Financial Mentor Coaching, Performance Enhancement, and Facilitation of Boards of Directors and Home Offices. He has privately helped numerous clients navigate the challenging accompaniments of success, including fame, power, and wealth. He has directly trained over 2,000 professional coaches, 425 licensed, specialty-certified wellness, financial, and performance coaches, and many thousand more who have participated in his continuing education and training seminars.
He attended the LSU School of Medicine, New Orleans, and the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Krueger is a trained and certified Professional Mentor Coach through Coach Training Alliance and certified by the International Coaching Federation.
Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Krueger has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for his contributions to his profession. In past years, Dr. Krueger was honored in a variety of ways by Who’s Who of Scientists and Engineers, Whos’ Who of Medical Specialists, International Who’s Who, Who’s Who in Writers, Editors and Poets. He was named as Fellow, American Psychiatric Association; Fellow, American College of Psychoanalysts; Fellow, American College of Psychiatrists. New York Academy of Science named him as one of 2000 Outstanding Scientists of the 20th Century.
Aside from his successful career, Dr. Krueger has been a sought-after consultant for public and private corporations including the US Department of Labor, The Republic of Germany, The German Embassy, International Women’s Tennis Association, The Institute of Rehabilitation and Research, and the SMU Graduate School of Business. As a Visiting Professor, Dr. Krueger was invited to lend his expertise in Augsburg, Germany; Javierana University in Bogota, Colombia; Kansas Institute, Kansas City, Kansas; The Timberlawn Foundation, Dallas, Texas. He has also spoken nationally and internationally at conferences and retreats and given presentations globally.
In addition to these merits, Dr. Krueger is the author of twenty-four trade and professional books on success, wellness, money, and self-development, and seventy-five scientific papers and book chapters. The dedications of these books have ranged from his patients, then clients, his two children Ryan and Lauren, his wife Carly, his nine beloved grandchildren, and more recently, Mariel and Nia. Once asked by medical colleagues after a presentation at an international conference on training professionals, “What do you believe would be the single best indicator to reveal the excellence of a professional interacting with colleagues and patients?” Without hesitating, he replied, “Show me his or her children.”
One of his earlier books, Success and the Fear of Success in Women: A Developmental and Psychodynamic Perspective (Free Press) was named to the Master Work Series as one of the 100 most Influential Professional Books of the 20th Century. His book, The Secret Language of Money is a Business Best-Seller translated into ten languages. Dr. Krueger recently released two more books, Engaging the Ineffable: Toward Mindfulness and Meaning (Paragon House) and A New Money Story: The Beliefs, Behaviors, And Brain Science to Rewire for Wealth (Second Edition, Westwood Books).
Dr. Krueger operates on the Advisory Board and as Contributing Faculty at Bauer College of Business for the University of Houston. He also belongs to the Alliance for Strategic Leadership Coaching and Consulting, and was elected to the American Society of Journalists and Authors.
Looking back, Dr. Krueger attributes his success to his original Mentor, his Dad, and experiences working with him growing up on a farm and ranch in Texas, to his next mentors, his two children, and to his Muse, Carly. He became a scholar of personal success and peak performance and continues to integrate the mind, brain, and performance sciences into strategic coaching. For the future, Dr. Krueger’s mission is to guide people to achieve their unique, most empowered performance stories.
