Cincinnati, Ohio — Centers for Spiritual Living Greater Cincinnati, a non-denominational church in the village of Fairfax, Ohio, that is known for teaching Spiritual principles that empower all people to enjoy the highest quality of life possible, is promoting a “Meet Your Neighbor” Community Day.
Every holiday season, innocent, naive and elderly residents, throughout the community, fall prey to a range of criminal activities, damaging internet deceptions, postal and package delivery theft, unforeseen fire traps, child-injury hazards and so on.
The “Meet Your Neighbor” Community Day event, is designed to help residents to learn who, in their neighborhood, are helpful, responsible and productive citizens (volunteers and business people) who can be called upon when home or auto issues, medical stress, family emergencies and other planned or unplanned circumstances arise.
Issues range from locating reliable house, pet or babysitters, who can shovel a snowy driveway or rake leaves to someone who can stay with or monitor an ill resident until family members or emergency personnel can arrive.
Residents and business persons, from area communities like Norwood, Hyde Park, Oakley, Madisonville, Siverton and Mariemont, are encouraged to attend, although all, who are interested, are welcome.
This event will feature safety professionals from the police, fire, internet and medical communities. Attendees can learn holiday stress-reducing techniques from Sahaja Meditation of Cincinnati; Successful prayer techniques from CSLGC practitioners; healing processes from The Circle of Friends of Cincinnati, Energy infusion technology from Focus Life-Force Energy and Pyramid Effect of Louisville, Kentucky.
There will be a children’s (up to age 12) costume contest, face painting, spin-the-wheel and new neighbor games.
Hamburgers, hotdogs, bagged snacks, bottled water and soft drinks will be available for sale. Miniature “trick or treat” bags for costumed or face-painted children are free.
Anyone who is interested in vending or presenting at this event may contact Michael G. Kamau, Event Coordinator, at (513) 290-3330.
