Dr. Amornmarn’s medical journey began as a graduate of Siriraj Medical School in Bangkok, Thailand in 1971, where she received awards for having the highest grades in Pediatrics and Pathology. She completed a rotating internship and a one year residency in Internal Medicine at Siriraj Medical School Hospital in 1972, and a Straight Medical Internship at the VA Hospital in Washington, DC, 1973. Dr. Amornmarn went on to consecutively fulfill fellowships in Radiology and in Oncology at John Hopkins University, School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland from 1973-1977,during which time she served as an assistant resident and resident in therapeutic radiology.
During her past appointments, Dr. Amornmarn has served as a tenured associate professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, FL, 1983-1999. She has also served as Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland, 1981-1983; and Assistant Professor of Radiology at the New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ.1978-1981.
