United States, California, Burbank – 05-21-2020 (PRDistribution.com) — George Christie, former Hells Angels President of Ventura, California is currently filming “Marked-The Unforgiven” in Europe, a screen play adapted from the best-selling novel “Marked” written by Christie.
The production was in “hiatus’ in Spain due to the Covid 19 quarantine however Christie and many of the production staff and actors remained in Spain or London, the two main headquarters for the production.
It was announced on Monday 18th May that the production office would re-open in Almeria, Spain and the crew created quite a stir by rolling into the beautiful coastal city of Almeria with the Triumph motorcycles that will be used on the show.
We caught up with Laura Beltran Jimenez, Communications Manager for Wanda-Halcyon Television who commented- “there is a great story arc in the Pilot episode where Jack Crest and Big John, the two main characters, use Triumph motorcycles in Afghanistan as part of a Special Forces task force which we think the fans are really going to enjoy. Triumph Motorcycles have a great history and are a really good fit for the television show”
“Marked-The Unforgiven” is the story of a former Marine recon sniper, Jack Crest, who returns home to Ventura, California, from Afghanistan and becomes the protégé of the character, Big John, played by Christie and the two form a motorcycle club (MC) made up of only veterans – Marine Recon, Green Berets, Navy Seals, Delta Operators and a Coast Guard captain. Their backgrounds provide a rich vein from which to mine story arcs.
Ale’ Stoica, Merchandising Manager for Wanda-Halcyon Television spoke to us – “we are really very positive about “Marked-The Unforgiven” and all the fans are very excited about the merchandising at this early stage. We have actually agreed to start selling merchandise in June which we would normally never do prior to the show airing but the media buzz has been so intense that we have received a lot of requests from fans wanting to buy t-shirts with the MC logo etc. We are very excited.
The production was the brainchild of Sutish Sharma, of New Street Pictures, Pinewood Studios, London, England and Pat Andrew of Wanda-Halcyon Television of Los Angeles. Sharma brings over 20 years’ experience across film, television and radio including several years at the BBC and adapted the book “Marked” into a screen play. Andrew, former executive of Wanda-Halcyon Television and Spelling Entertainment Inc. and also a former personal assistant to the Hollywood icon, Sydney Korshak, in California was recently named one of the top producers to watch out for in Europe in 2020.
